Beautiful handles that perfectly match my Heritage Brass handles that I fitted 30 years ago. They are still going strong but I needed to change to Euro locks. As I understand it, the Heritage Brass Windsor handles are solid brass. The Project Hardware Avon handles are the same shape (also made by M. Marcus) but brass plating on a zinc alloy body, so a bit cheaper. Do yourself a favour and throw the steel 'pilot' screw in the bin; its pathetically shallow screw slot is specifically designed to mess up your door, your new handles, and your fingers. Drill 2.5mm pilot holes instead and the brass screws will go in nicely, as long as you use a non-worn screwdriver.
