How do you clean copper door handles?
Copper door handles can be easily cleaned with just a cloth and a few ingredients you’ve probably got in your kitchen cupboard. Always start by wiping the handles with a clean cloth to remove any fingerprints and dirt that has built up on the surface before proceeding.
Once you’ve wiped the surface of the copper door handles, you can either clean the fixtures with a commercial cleaning chemical or opt for a homemade paste solution.
The easiest paste is made with 1 part bicarbonate of soda and 1 part warm water. Stir the ingredients together until they form a paste; you are aiming for a consistency like toothpaste. The paste should be able to cling to the door handle without falling on the ground or spreading to the door itself.
Simply rub the paste over the handle, leave it for a few minutes, and then wipe away with a damp clean microfibre cloth.
